Mary Hirschfeld

Mary Hirschfeld holds Ph.D.s in Economics (Harvard University, 1989) and Theology (University of Notre Dame, 2013).  She works on the boundaries between theology and economics using an approach rooted in the thought of St. Thomas Aquinas. Along with her book, Aquinas and the Market (Harvard University Press, 2018), she has published numerous articles on economic inequality, the common good, the technocratic paradigm and the financial crisis.
